My life’s work over the past 25 years has been about deconstructing religion, confronting privilege and healing from oppressive systems, and aligning with my gender identity.
I share this because as a therapist, so much of the suffering I witness comes from things like internalized misogyny, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and bigotry. I bring this consciousness into every session.
Today I identify as athiest, humanist, gender non-binary, demisexual/ace spectrum and neurodivergent (ADHD). My ethnic identity and culture are white, with roots in Northern Europe including Great Britain, Germany and Norway. My home is on the land of the PeePosh, Akimel O’odham and HuHuKam nations. I’m a single parent of two school aged kids and I love creating music, drawing, napping, watching monsoons and, more than anything, connecting with people on a deeply authentic level.
My jam is helping folx heal from religious trauma and other oppressive systems. I am a secular, gender-non-binary therapist. I offer:
Trauma-competent, person-centered therapy
Narrative therapy
Art groups
Counseling for religious trauma
Inner child healing
Specialized focus in lesbian, gay, bi/pansexual, poly, ace spectrum, transgender, genderfluid, nonbinary, 2 spirit and questioning individuals
Let’s get real about what’s holding you back - and start really living.

I served people primarily from the Akimel O’odham (Pima) and PeePosh (Maricopa) tribes, but also many others including Tohono O’odham, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Navajo, Apache, Chocktaw and Sioux. My love and respect for the Gila River Indian Community run deep. The stories shared with me on the reservation are sacred and central to my work with all folx who have experienced historical/intergenerational trauma.
