Art & therapy group for adults with ADHD!
Where we put the fun in Executive Dysfunction
Since starting my practice, part of my vision has been to create a safe, affirming group therapy space for neurodiverse folx. We meet every other week for 90 minutes to make cool shit, share experiences, deep dive on ADHD topics and crowdsource ideas and solutions! Group is facilitated by me and my business partner, a professional artist and art teacher with over 10 years of behavioral health experience.
The info you came for:
Members do not need to be formally diagnosed with ADHD to attend group, but must complete a free, 15 minute virtual screening with me to ensure that group is a good fit
New clients: Schedule your screening here (select Request Appointment —> Initial Consultation)
Current individual clients: Contact me before attending first session to talk about goals for group
Groups meet for 90 minutes every other Wednesday at 5:30pm and every other Sunday at 10am; clients choose either the Wednesday or Sunday group to attend
Session fee is $50 for group-only clients, and $40 for those who attend group and individual sessions with me (discount applies to weekly/biweekly individual clients only). Fee includes all materials and snacks

What happens in a group?
We love our groups and look forward to them every time! First we settle in with coffee and snacks and always start with a quick intro - your name, pronouns (if you’d like to share them) and a goal you want to work on. Then we’ll talk about a topic that either directly relates to ADHD or an element of life that is affected by ADHD - things like procrastination, short-term memory problems, disorganization, relationship strain, rejection sensitivity, and so many more.
My co-facilitator then introduces a unique art project for the session. The project is different every time because we love to keep it interesting! We often work with canvas, acrylic paint, paint markers, papercraft, painting/drawing on ceramics, designing images for shirts, shoes and wristbands, zines, the list goes on.
As we’re creating, we have the opportunity to crowdsource feedback related to our goals or other places we’re feeling stuck. This is my favorite part of group - sharing wisdom, discovering that we’re not alone and finding solutions to everyday problems. Turns out there’s room on the struggle bus for everyone, and we don’t have to do this alone.
