Queer-affirming virtual therapy for all of Arizona

I use a secure web-based therapy platform (SimplePractice) for virtual counseling sessions. I am licensed in Arizona and can see anyone in the state with an internet connection!

I was born and raised in Arizona. I grew up in Phoenix, but have spent a large part of my life in Flagstaff - it’s my second hometown. I’m familiar with the unique cultures that intersect in Flagstaff, and the broader challenges of seeking mental health care in more rural and remote areas of Arizona. Finding a queer-affirming provider in these locations can be tough for a number of reasons.

While virtual therapy options existed before the pandemic, they were not as widely used. Covid required us to adapt to virtual options quickly. It was a hard transition, but it opened an awesome opportunity to make counseling even more accessible to folx in less-populated areas, without easy access to transportation or other factors that make meeting in office difficult.

WIth virtual sessions, we can meet wherever is easiest for you. I’ve done sessions with people who were in their cars, pantries, backyards, workplaces and closets. The most important thing is that you are getting the help you need - and virtual sessions can make that happen.
